In 2001, purely by accident, Rentak Timur Sdn. Bhd., discovered and made it’s first tentative steps into the world of Vanilla, more generally referred to as “green gold”.
Realizing the potential RTSB initially started with a small plantation in Bali, in 2005, after much research and investment it became the first and only Malaysian Company to plant, cultivate, harvest and process Organic Natural Vanilla for the Domestic and International Market.
Through an innovative and pioneering scheme to assist small plantation holders, it has successfully captured a “niche” market and gained for itself a reputation unsurpassed by other Companies. With its unique guaranteed buy-back system RTSB has been able to assist small growers in obtaining financial assistance to cultivate Vanilla.
RTSB is endorsed by numerous Local and State Governments and has forged strategic alliances with many Cooperatives of Small Land Owners, providing them with an alternative inexpensive crop suited to small cultivation areas requiring minimal start-up capital.
